My band United Defiance played Slims in SF 1-10-10. WE played with Calabrese and Strung Out.
Slims is hands down the best venue ever. They took such good care of the bands. We had our own dressing room, sound check and lights. Not to mention free beer, 10 person guest list and some of the most professional people in the business looking out.
The show was sold out and was not one to be forgotten.
Some high and low lights:
Boobs and puss in the dressing room.
Meeting Strung out and Calabrese.
Seeing lots of friends.
Having my windshield wiper broken.
Roasting the clutch in the Suby.
Mike drunk.
Rocking a great stage and going well.
The homeless guy sleeping in Estebo's car when we got home.
Fun stuff ladies and gentleman.
